Accounts Payable

Hi,

We were told by examiners that we should do a quarterly review of new vendors in Accounts Payable. I am looking online to find anything I can about each new vendor. I go to the vendors website. I look for Facebook, LinkedIn, Better Business Bureau and any thing else I can find online to verify if the vendor is legitimate. 

I am wondering what each of you are looking at. What is your review process for new vendors in Accounts Payable?
