We recently had our NCUA Exam (virtually). It was recommended as a Best Practice for audit or compliance to perform a periodic review of the non-mortgage consumer lending disclosure process and documentation, primarily focusing on meeting the requirements and technical provisions of Reg Z to include disclosures for required forms, content, timeliness and accurancy (APRs and Finance Changes).
I have pulled the NCUA Examiners Questionnaire for Reg Z as a starting point using only the non-mortgage cosumer loan sections, but I wanted to check to see how others are performing this type of review/audit.
Does anyone currently perform this type of Reg Z periodic review/audit and can provide a sample of what they follow.
Thank you.
