What, if any, controls (other than the member review of their account activity) are there to prevent or detect a teller fraudulently withdrawing money from a member's account? If a member complains, we can review video and transaction documents. But do you have controls that would prevent or detect this type of fraud without a member complaint?
Also, do the cameras at your branches give an unobstructed view of the teller and their drawer? Or are the camera directed at members, and you can't see the teller drawer?
Finally, if you identify a fraudulent teller transaction, how far back in that teller's transaction history would you review to try to determine if other similar fraudulent transactions have occurred?
Thanks in advance for any information you can share with me.
