Presenters

Chad Garber, CPA, Director BKD
A member of BKD National Financial Services Group, Chad has more than 12 years of audit and attestation experience.  He focuses on providing audit and advisory solutions to financial institutions and has worked with public and closely held financial institutions of wide-ranging size throughout his career.  Chad has experience analyzing loan-loss reserves, mergers and acquisitions, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements and integrated audits.

He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Indiana CPA Society.  Chad serves on the board of directors and finance committee for Jameson Camp and volunteers with several community organizations.  He frequently serves as a speaker at industry association events and BKD-sponsored events and webcasts.

Chad is a graduate of Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, with a B.S. degree in accounting.  He attended the AICPA National Banking School at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Graduate School of Banking.

Elizabeth Doebler, Senior Consultant BKD
Elizabeth is a member of BKD National Financial Services Group.  She has more than 17 years of banking and services industry experience, including regulatory compliance, consumer and mortgage lending.  She has obtained her Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation. Her regulatory compliance experience includes work related to lending, privacy, the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008.

Prior to joining BKD, Elizabeth worked in the consumer lending department for a multibillion dollar financial services company, where she created and improved loan processes in compliance with government standards, performed due diligence on real estate secured loans and developed procedures.
