Currently, I have an access database that allows my team to 'real time' update the status on remediation, but I am looking at solutions that will do the following
1. Store Workpapers and external Audit/exam reports, and ideally assist in the compilation of reports.
2. Provide Task management to all 'responders' (email reminders, etc.) and allow me to review and approve the response for reporting to SC.
3. Ideally, this would also allow responders a personalized Dashboard of issues outstanding so that they can see where the concentration of their focus is... I can probably give this to the areas needing it the most, but it would be nice if it could be done adhoc.
4. This is the big one: Anyone have all this 'not' on the cloud? we're baby stepping into the cloud, and I'd have a better time selling this to the powers that be if we can have total control over the data.
while I don't 'need' all this, I'm interested in what everyone uses, and how it stacks up to my remediation utopia. Right now Access gives me the ability to create aesthetically pleasing and totally customizable reports via Crystal Reports, which appears to be the only thing I'd be giving up (Unless I can export information in a way that can filter through Crystal, which would be way simpler than my process now)
