Due to larger numbers of branch staff not using personal vehicles to commute (i.e., Uber riders, bus riders, etc.), opening and closing procedures performed at branches are being reviewed. Currently, we utilize similar mechanisms that have been included in older forum chains (i.e., first person circles branch and enters, the second person stays in their vehicle until the all clear is set).
Would anyone mind sharing ideas for procedure modification when branch staff does not have a personal vehicle? I am hopeful institutions that operate in more urban areas, where public transportation may be more-frequently utilized and branch buildings may not allow for a "drive-around," can provide some feedback of what processes are utilized as well - it may be we can modify for this scenario.
