Employee "Witnesses"

I’m trying to find out if other CUs allow employees to sign as “witnesses.” For example, some documents like Wills and POAs ask for 1 or 2 witnesses in addition to a notary. In the past we have not let anyone act as a witness, I assume due to liability.  Does your credit union allow this and if so, what controls/procedures do you have in place, if any?
