Escheatment to states

I'm curious to know if your CU escheats accounts based on the member's last known address or just to the state your CU is in.  During the research I completed to do the escheatment and dormant account audit, I believe the unclaimed property must be turned over to the state in which the member resides, not just where your CU is located.

How do you keep track of all the different state requirement and dormancy periods to make sure your CU is filing everything correctly and on time in all the different states?
