We sell gift cards, nonpersonalized travel cards (reload up to 4 times) and personalized travel cards (unlimited reloads).
Our branches are logging these sales (except for the sale of personalized cards) into excel spreadsheets labeled, Gift card, Travel Card and Reloads.
Does your credit union log these, or do you just use the receipts printed from Card Wiz to reconcile? If you have personalized cards and logs, do you log the sale of a personalized card even though you do not have a card number?
There was a discussion about whether the logs are needed or not, which is the purpose of this post. If they are needed, shouldn't the personalized cards also be logged even though the card number is not available?
