Hello, our Credit Union will be updating our core system in a conversion for 2022. The following question has come up: During the time of the core conversion(about a year or more), what is the role of the Internal Audit department? or how did other credit unions utilized Sr. Auditors while the CU leadership (managers) focused on the conversion. Were Internal Audits expected and/or halted? We are a mid size credit union and there are some concerns with departments being inundated and reduced staffing capacity to do both.
