Can anyone tell me if FreddieMac, FannieMae,HUD or FHA require a request from a member to have PMI cancelled to be in writing? I read much that says 'request this in writing', but I cannot find anywhere if it is REQUIRED. If it is required, could you please provide me with the citation so that I can review it? Thank you!
