Record Retention for Garnishments

Hello,

I have been researching the record retention for incoming garnishments.  I understand that they are permanent, however, is that for the FI/Company that is sending the garnishment out?  Or is that for the FI receiving the garnishment in for one of their members?  I wouldnt that that both the sender and the receiver have to keep it permanently but I cant find anything that specifially says who has to keep the documentation permanently.

How long are you retaining your documentation?
