    Hi,
    Does anyone have an exit checklist when employees leave/are terminated  that they are willing to share? We have one, but it is skeletal at best.

  • Employee Cell Phones

    Does any of your Credit Unions have a policy against employees having their cell phones at their work stations?  Specifically, I'm looking at picture phones and the ability to take a picture of sensitive member information (credit card numbers, etc) and take them out of the credit union undectected.

  • Ficticious Loans

    Have you in your audit career ever discovered fictitious loans in your random audit sampling?
    My opinion is that these are generally discovered by a call from a member and are often not discovered by internal auditors, outside auditors or examiners.
    Other than doing a random loan review each month or quarter is there anything else you are doing to unturn fictitous loans such as special reports, etc.

  • Supervisory Committee Structure & Role

    My Supervisory Committee is looking at possibly expanding its role.  They are considering increasing in size, frequency of meetings and defining areas of strengths required for the members of the committee . Are any other Supervisory Committees discussing this or have already made recent changes?
    How many committee members do you have currently?
    How often do they meet?
    Do you have defined roles (Financial, Risk, IT)?
    If you could provide asset size that would be helpful.

    Does anyone have a checklist used to comply with Fannie Mae's quality control requirements they are willing to share? In addition, if you have a policy and/or procedure regarding the QC requirement coul you share that also.  Our mortgage department wants to look for ideas as they are working on updating their forms.  You can e-mail me direct khodgkin@covantagecu.org
