I need to get started on completing Internal Audit Risk Assessments. I am thinking about completing a risk assessment after each audit this year instead of all at once. That would be very time consuming! Can anyone tell me if you purchased a product or developed your own spreadsheet using the control risks such as Inherent, Transaction, Regulatory etc and risk ratings high, medium or low? Thanks.

I am pre-planning for an eCommerce audit, and notice that NCUA Letter 10-CU-24, from late last year, pertaining to "Supplemental Guidance on Internet Banking Authentication" seems to have been removed from the NCUA site. Anyone know why? I did not print it out, but seem to remember it urged CU's to implement the supplimental guidance for online accounts, etc.

I posted this on COBWEB also, so you have already read this question. I've got a question regarding TIL's open-end (non home secured) loan requirements to display itemized fees and interest in table format. 226.7(b)(6)(iii) states that fees must be "identified consistent with the feature or type". On credit insurance, do we have to specifically list life and disability in the description, or can we refer to both as "credit insurance"? Is anyone out there willing to share their institution's procedures / controls surrounding starter checks? We never used to offer them to members, but are getting ready to roll them out. We are all a bit uneasy about the lack of possible controls. Thanks!

I am seeking a vendor for our Confidential Ethics/Fraud Hotline and would appreciate any recommendations. I am looking for a vendor who could offer a toll-free # that would be unique to my credit union, as well as a P.O. box or email reporting. Thank you. Catherine L. HillCommunity Trust CUGurnee, IL

Hello-I was just wondering how others are dealing with the independence of appraisal ordering and reviewing? We have a system in place and I was just wondering what others are doing so maybe ours can become less tedious. Currently I am the Compliance Specialist and order, coordinate, and have contact with the appraisers. In the very near future I will be reviewing the appraisals as they come in (right now we currently have an outside party doing this).

Hi everyone,ACUIA ballots for Board of Directors were sent via email on May 5th. I have heard from a handfull of you that you have not received your ballot yet. If you have not received your ballot yet, please check with your IT department first to see if it is in a spam folder. If it is, see if they can retrieve it for you. If it isn't please send me an email. There were a few email addresses which bounced back as bad - most of them were due to an underline being used instead of a dash. I corrected those with the election company, and those members should have received their email the
