Hi everyone,ACUIA ballots for Board of Directors were sent via email on May 5th. I have heard from a handfull of you that you have not received your ballot yet. If you have not received your ballot yet, please check with your IT department first to see if it is in a spam folder. If it is, see if they can retrieve it for you. If it isn't please send me an email. There were a few email addresses which bounced back as bad - most of them were due to an underline being used instead of a dash. I corrected those with the election company, and those members should have received their email the

Hi everyone. We are in the process of reviewing a lot of operations procedures and making some significant changes (prior to this year, the Credit Union never had an internal auditor, and only recently did we hire a full-time compliance officer). Anyways, we are looking at our requirements for signatures on various transactions when their are joint owners on an account.

Hi, Does anyone provide this pamphlet to members? http://www.fincen.gov/whatsnew/pdf/CTRPamphlet.pdf If so, when and how to you give this information to members? Do you have a sample 'script' that tellers use when handing the pamphlet to a member? You input is greatly appreciated. Thanks! Diana Dupont ddupont@dcu.org Digital Federal Credit Union

Our Fixed Asset Subledger is an Access Database but we do not have good process/procedures for managing fixed assets. Does your CU have a fixed asset tracking system? We have purchased software, Fixed Assets CS from Thomson Reuters and we are wondering how other credit unions manage fixed assets. We would like to see whatever processes/procedures you have on purchasing, deploying, disposing etc. Thanks for any help you can give.

I am interesting in knowing how your institutions determine risk ratings for your member's accounts? Is there a specific program you use to help with this? Also, does your policy and procedures allow changes to a member's risk rating? Thanks. Tannia WeaverSunstate Federal Credit Union

My credit union board of directors are giving consideration to having an associate board member. The board is in the planning stage of this idea and is interested in seeing how other credit unions manage the process. Additionally they are interested in how many of you have this position on your board. I would like to ask if you do have an associate board member(s) if you would be willing to share your credit union's policy on this. Any assistance would be appreciated.

With the upcoming Reg CC changes, how are you notifying your existing membership of the funds availability change? We will be changing our brochure to include the disclosure changes, but did not want to resend new disclosures to entire membership. One staff member has suggested statement message, but according to what I have read, we need to have a seperate disclosure. I believe it could be placed in with the statement for mailing, but should be a seperate page. Thanks,Dawn McMahon, CUCE, CIAInternal AuditorVeridian Credit Union

Does anyone have a social media audit program they could share? I would like to review the compliance issues surrounding the use of twitter, facebook, or other social media venues. Our website is already being reviewed by an outside firm, so that's not our focus. Any assistance would be appreciated.Deanne E.
