We are struggling with a format for an engagement level risk assessment. We would like a "here's the risk, here's the control that mitigates that risk, here's the test of the controls" matrix or something like that. If you have something you could share I would appreciate it

And maybe its not the format, but the verbiage we're struggling with. If you give give me an example of some verbiage from an actual risk assessment, that might help.

I am looking to audit the negotiable instrument(s) at the home office where bulk inventory would be stored. I define negotiable instruments as (but not all inclusive)  Mutilated cash, debit cards, credit cards, money orders, gift cards, cashier’s checks, stored value cards, travelers checks, foreign currency or anything else of value.  I account for the inventory at the branch level but did not look at the home office. I want to look at the process from ordering to receiving to distribution to the branches.     Can anyone be of assistance?  Thank you

This is a question for those of you who are on the Harland/UltraData system:   We are trying to develop a monthly exception report to identify changes to loans after funding (interest rates, loan payment amounts, due date changes, and loan term -months to repay - changes) and would like to hear how you were able to develop your reports with your IT department.  Are you able to generate exception reports off the system? Are they custom reports or are they 'canned' reports?
