    Is anyone willing to share a written policy for Member Complaints?  Our Credit Union is in the process of writing a policy and I would appreciate it if anyone has a policy that I could use for comparison.   I'm especially interested in details that involve the internal auditor's and supervisory committee's role with member complaints. ssager@tronavalley.comThanks in Advance for any feedback and help with this topic.

  • General Membership and Loan Funding

    We have a situation when funding indirect loans the loan is funded before the membership is funded.  Both are funded within the same day; however, I, an old time credit union person, believes that you have to have be a membership before anything is done.  I am told due to the system that can not be.  Does anyone have any advise for me.  I need words of wisdom.  Thank you

     Hi, I'm currently researching different options for audit management software that would help in managing electronic workpapers, organizing findings and recommendations, and tracking budget, resources, and follow-ups, etc.  I know of TeamMate, but if any of you are using other software, I would greatly appreciate your input.Thanks!

  • Audit Firms being used

    We have used Nearman Maynard for the past three years and our new Supervisory Committee chairman wants to do due diligence and check out other firms.  At the current time we are $130 million in assets and are doing a Supervisory Committee audit instead of a CPA audit.  Which audit firms would you recommend?  If you have a Request for Proposal form please send it to me at c.heffernan@summitcu.com.  Thanks.
